During the last 24 hours in the state, where a drop in the minimum and maximum temperature has been registered, this situation can be seen on Monday as well.
Drop in maximum temperature up to 5 degrees
In many districts including Lucknow, Barabanki, Unnao, Hardoi, Sitapur, there has been an effect on the temperature due to rain with strong winds. Earlier, where the maximum temperature in the state had reached close to 45 degrees and an increase in the minimum temperature was also recorded, now there has been a decline in both. A decrease of up to five degrees has been recorded in the maximum temperature. A similar situation can be seen during the next 24 hours.
Western Disturbance and cyclonic winds will have an effect
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, the Western Disturbance is seen as a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and adjoining parts of Punjab. A cyclonic circulation is over northwest Madhya Pradesh. Another cyclonic circulation has formed over Tamil Nadu. A trough is running from Northwest Madhya Pradesh to South Tamil Nadu.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain, thunder or dust storm with partly cloudy sky in major cities of Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gorakhpur on Monday. Bareilly will be partly cloudy, while the sky will be generally clear in Meerut, Ghaziabad and Noida.

In the major cities of the state, today the minimum temperature in Lucknow is 21 degree and the maximum temperature is 37 degree, in Agra the minimum temperature is 20 degree and the maximum temperature is 36 degree, in Kanpur the minimum temperature is 19 degree and the maximum temperature is 36 degree, in Prayagraj the minimum temperature is 21 degree and the maximum temperature is 21 degree. The temperature is expected to be 36 degrees, the minimum temperature in Varanasi is 22 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degrees.
