There are chances of rain in Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Etah, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kannauj, Kasganj, Lakhimpur Kheri and surrounding areas.

According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior meteorologist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, there may be light to moderate rain at some places along with thunderstorms and lightning in the western part of the state on Sunday. Due to this, there are chances of lightning in Baghpat, Bijnor, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Shamli and surrounding areas till the morning of 15-16 October. There are also chances of rain at these places.
