According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, moderate and heavy rains occurred in many parts of the state on Monday. In Purvanchal, it rained with strong thunderstorms at many places including Gorakhpur, Maharajganj. The situation remained the same in Lucknow and surrounding districts. Apart from this, clouds also rained in Meerut and other districts of western UP. On Tuesday also, the rain and storm will continue in the state. There are chances of hailstorm in some places. There was a feeling of mild cold in the capital Lucknow on Tuesday morning. There was a wink between the clouds and the sun. A drop in temperature has been recorded after the rain.

Strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km in most areas of the state on Tuesday. An alert has also been issued regarding thunderstorms. Such weather can be seen till this week. In general, the state received an average of 4.7 mm of rain. During this people got relief from the heat and the weather remained pleasant. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of hailstorm in Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit and surrounding areas.

According to meteorologists, compared to last year, this time in April, the heat wave remained loose. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, this time there was a significant drop in the temperature in April. At the same time, such a situation is being seen in the first week of May as well.
