UP Weather AQI Today: The air of UP has become more poisonous than the country’s capital Delhi. More than a dozen cities of UP are included in the 100 polluted cities of the world. Ghaziabad is ranked fourth in the world’s top 100. Ghaziabad’s air quality index (AQI) was 436 on Thursday morning, which is much higher than New Delhi’s AQI 406. Meerut in UP also has AQI 406, it is ranked 7th among the polluted cities of the world. Noida’s AQI is 360, it is at 12th position. Hapur’s AQI is 359 at 13th place. Muzaffarnagar’s AQI is 320 at 59th place. The AQI of Lucknow, the capital of UP, has also started falling into a dangerous situation. The AQI here came to 312. Faizabad’s AQI is 293, it is at 80th position. Kanpur’s AQI is 281 at 90th place. Fatehpur’s AQI is 280 at 92nd place. Kairana’s AQI is 279 at 95th place. Etawah’s AQI is 277 at 98th place.

Along with this, the climate of Bareilly is not improving for almost a month. The air here has become suffocating due to the dust and smoke of vehicles arising from the broken roads and construction of Qutub Khana Over Bridge. Bareilly’s AQI had reached 295 at midnight on Wednesday. But, on Thursday morning AQI is 170. This is also in a worrying situation. Along with this, the AQI of the air of Rajendra Nagar of the city is at 227, which is very serious. The AQI of Badaun Road, Subhashnagar and Madhinath is 147, while the AQI of Civil Lines is 136. The PM 2.5 here has increased to 74. The PM 2.5 of Rajendra Nagar is 98 in the morning and that of Civil Lines is 55. Due to increasing AQI in the city, respiratory diseases are increasing among the people. OPDs of hospitals are full of patients.

Know how much AQI is right for health

0 to 50 AQI is best for human health. 51-100 AQI is also considered fine, but sensitive people start having slight difficulty in breathing. 101 AQI is not good. Lung, heart and asthma patients have difficulty in breathing due to AQI of 101 to 200. There is oxygen in the air. Its air content should be 19.5. Oxygen less than this is harmful for human health. Health starts getting adversely affected.

70 lakh people die every year due to pollution

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about seven million or 70 lakh people die every year due to air pollution all over the world. This figure is quite shocking. Along with this, increasing air pollution in the environment can cause a lot of problems for a person’s health and can cause diseases related to respiratory, neurobehavioral, cardiovascular and immune systems.

Eat a diet rich in vitamins

To avoid pollution, one should consume a diet rich in vitamins. It reduces the negative effects of air pollution. Because vitamins strengthen your body’s defense system and protect you from diseases. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A help reduce damage caused by air pollution. For this you can consume fruits and vegetables like grapes, orange, lemon, carrot, broccoli, walnut, and radish. Along with this, there is a need to avoid outside food. Using air purifier is a better option to avoid air pollution. Using an air purifier in your home can purify the air in your home as well as reduce air pollution in your home.
