While the maximum temperature in the state has reached 22 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature has fallen to 8 degrees Celsius. An increase in cold has been recorded due to westerly winds. Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly have been the coldest districts recorded during the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Bareilly was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius while in Muzaffarnagar the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in both these districts was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, there is no good sign regarding pollution in the weather. The air of most of the cities of the state remains poisonous. Bareilly’s air is the most poisonous in Uttar Pradesh. The air quality index (AQI) here has left behind the AQI of the country’s capital Delhi. At midnight on Sunday, Bareilly’s AQI was 336, while Delhi’s AQI was 335. Among the 100 polluted cities of the world, Bareilly was at 17th place, Delhi at 18th place. Noida of UP is at 24th position. The AQI here was recorded at 324. Ghaziabad’s AQI is 319 at 26th place, Meerut’s AQI is 310 at 31st place, Muzaffarnagar’s AQI is 341 at 37th place, Hapur’s AQI is 296 at 39th place, UP’s Sambhal is at 77th place is AQI 217, Agra is at 79th place is AQI 213. Saharanpur, at 98th place, had AQI 211. However, Bareilly’s AQI has reduced significantly on Monday morning. It had become 165 at 9 am. But even after this, the air of Bareilly is in very bad condition. The AQI of Civil Lines of the city is 171, AQI of Subhash Nagar is 164 and AQI of Rajendra Nagar is 160.
