UP T20 League: Angst over not getting posting in UP T20 League, umpires, scorers, technical staff will boycott

Kanpur: Ignorance of umpires, scorers and technical officials in the domestic matches organized by Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) may now prove costly for the association. Umpires, scorers and technical officials serving in the domestic matches of Uttar Pradesh are unhappy with not being given posting in the Uttar Pradesh Premier League (UP T20 League) being run at Green Park. He is now taking his words to the people of the group daily on social media. Some UPCA officials are also with them. But he is not able to express his opposition openly.

Dissatisfaction with UPCA’s functioning

According to UPCA sources, angry with this functioning of the association, umpires, scorers and technical officials are planning to boycott domestic matches in the upcoming season. Because the city’s umpires, scorers and members of technical officials were not selected for the state level UP T20 competition. On which his group had expressed displeasure against the contractors of the union. Now he is planning to oppose it comprehensively.

Posting is not being given

Significantly, a total of 33 matches for the UP T20 League are to be played at the Green Park Stadium. In which special contribution is to be made by umpires as well as scorers and technical officials. Angry umpires have also lodged their complaint with BD Shukla, the umpire and chairman of the scoring committee, for not getting posting in these matches. But could not get any kind of success.
