UP Politics: Yogi cabinet will be expanded soon, OP Rajbhar and Dara Singh Chauhan will get big responsibility

Lucknow : The first cabinet of the Yogi government may be expanded till the first week of August. In which Subhaspa chief Omprakash Rajbhar and former minister Dara Singh Chauhan, who left SP and joined BJP, will be made cabinet ministers. At the same time, some former ministers and MLAs who were ministers in Yogi government 1.0 are also running from Lucknow to Delhi for the post of ministers.

Subhaspa chief Omprakash Rajbhar will be made the minister of Panchayati Raj. At the same time, the Ghosi assembly seat has become vacant due to the resignation of Dara Singh Chauhan. From this seat, Dara Singh Chauhan will once again contest the by-election on the symbol of BJP. After Subhaspa joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Omprakash Rajbhar is to be made a cabinet minister under the condition of the alliance.

At the same time, Dara Singh Chauhan also has to get a place in the cabinet again. The party has started the exercise regarding cabinet expansion. BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary also met Omprakash Rajbhar at his residence on Wednesday.

These people are in the race for minister

After meeting Rajbhar, Chaudhary reached Delhi on Thursday. In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, apart from Rajbhar and Dara Singh, two-three more ministers can be made in terms of caste equation. Former Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh is also involved in the race for the ministerial post. Mahendra Singh had also met BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary in the past.

Former MSME minister Siddharth Nath Singh, former energy minister Shrikant Sharma and former minister of state for transport with independent charge Ashok Kataria are also in the running for ministerial posts. Rajesh Chowdhary, MLA from Maat, is also trying for the post of minister. The swearing-in ceremony can take place from the fourth week of July to the first week of August as soon as the central leadership gets the green signal.

Keshav Maurya met Amit Shah and Rajnath

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Thursday. According to sources, there was discussion between the two on preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, expansion of the cabinet and other issues. Keshav also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Parliament.

Churning on cabinet expansion and appointment of district heads

BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary also reached Delhi on Thursday. Chaudhary met top party leaders in Delhi and discussed about the panel prepared for the appointment of district heads and the upcoming cabinet expansion.
