UP Politics: Taking a lesson from BSP’s continuous defeat, Mayawati took a big decision

UP Politics: Lucknow. With regard to the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year, it has now started drawing the blueprint of the BSP’s election preparations. After the failure in the last several elections, this time the special emphasis of the BSP is on the youth. New youths will be linked to the party, they will be given responsibility and then the customs and policies of the party will be explained. For this, cadre camps will be organized as soon as the booth committees are formed afresh. In these, the party organization will be introduced to the ideology and goals. The base of BSP has been continuously decreasing since 2012. In the last Lok Sabha elections-2019, it had won 10 seats in alliance with SP. After that, the BSP again contested the 2022 assembly elections alone. The performance in these was further disappointing. In the assembly elections, the vote percentage came down to 13 percent and the party was reduced to just one seat. At the same time, even in the municipal elections, the mayor could not win a single seat and the vote percentage was 12 percent.
