UP Police Recruitment: The matter has reached the court before the applications for the biggest recruitment in the history of Uttar Pradesh Police can begin. Contestants have approached the High Court in protest against not giving relaxation in age limit. Sarvesh Pandey and other 28 contestants have filed a petition demanding relaxation in age limit. The petition will be heard after winter vacation. Contestants have been preparing for this recruitment from the Yogi Adityanath government for a long time. His big dream is to join UP Police. But, they got a big shock after the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) issued a notification on 23 December. In this they were not given any relaxation in age limit. After this, competitors started protesting regarding this. Various organizations objected to this. Now the matter has reached the court. The High Court will hear the matter regarding age relaxation after winter vacation. Meanwhile, applications for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police are going to start from December 27. The last date for submission of fees and amendment in application is 18 January 2024. More than 25 lakh people are likely to apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment. Among the vacant posts, 24102 posts are unreserved. There are 6024 posts for EWS, 16264 posts for OBC, while 12650 posts have been reserved for SC and 1204 posts for ST. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 400.
