UP Police Constable Recruitment: Registration has started with the release of the application link for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police. After giving three years relaxation in the age limit, about 30 people are expected to apply. In such a situation, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has started preparing for the examination. With the start of online application through the board’s website uppbpb.gov.in, preparations are now being made to conduct these examinations in a fair manner. However, a big hurdle has come before the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. The timing of another examination is becoming a hindrance in conducting the written examination of constable recruitment. While proposing the date of 11th February for the written examination, the Recruitment Board had asked all the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police to make preparations along with various information regarding the examination centres, now a new update has come out in it.

There is a schedule to conduct the examination on 11th February.

Regarding UP Police Constable Recruitment, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Chairman Renuka Mishra has written a letter to all the District Magistrates saying that for recruitment to about 60 thousand posts of Police Constable, OMR will be conducted simultaneously in one shift in the entire state on 11th February. It has been decided to conduct based written examination. For this, a list of selected examination centers in the districts is attached and mentioned in it on the basis of the examinations previously conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission and Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Their consent and details regarding conducting the exam in the examination centers were asked to be made available to the board by December 28 in the prescribed format.

Information sought about examination centers regarding 11th and 18th February

On behalf of Renuka Mishra, Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, the District Magistrates have been told that now the information about the availability of the examination centers sent earlier on 18th February 2024 and their consent should be made available to the Board on the prescribed format by 31st December. Let it be given. Along with this, while sending the details, it should be clearly mentioned which center is available and agreeable for conducting the examination on both the dates i.e. 11th February and 18th February. Which examination center is available only for 11th February and which is available only for 18th February.

Final decision regarding examination will be taken after 31st December

In such a situation, it is expected that after the complete information of examination centers from all the districts is made available in the list by December 31, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board can take a decision in this regard. It is a big challenge to conduct two big examinations simultaneously. For this, maintaining law and order is also very important. In case it is not possible to conduct two examinations on one date, the date of February 18 may be finalized considering the condition of the examination centres. Or the board can take some other decision.

Know reservation and salary information

Under the biggest police recruitment ever in UP Police, 24102 posts have been reserved for unreserved category, 6024 posts for EWS, 16264 posts for Other Backward Classes, 12650 posts for Scheduled Caste, 1204 posts for Scheduled Tribe. . Along with this, reservation has also been prescribed for women. According to the information given in the horizontal reservation given in the notification, out of total 60244 posts of constable, 20 percent reservation has been given to women. According to Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, online applications have been invited for 60244 posts of constable in band 5200-20200 grade pay 2000 under pay matrix Rs 21700 in the new pay pan.

The height of SC category candidates should be 168 centimeters.

According to Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, in terms of physical standards, the height of candidates belonging to General, OBC, SC category for men should be at least 168 centimeters. The chest should be at least 79 centimeters without expansion and at least 84 centimeters after expansion. Similarly, the height of ST category candidates should be 160 centimeters. The chest should be at least 77 centimeters without expansion and at least 82 centimeters after expansion. For women, it is mandatory for general, OBC, SC category candidates to have a height of at least 152 centimeters. The height of ST category candidates should be at least 147 centimeters. Weight should be at least 40 kg.

There will be no CBT type recruitment exam.

According to Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, selection will be done on the basis of written examination and physical test. UP Police Constable Recruitment exam will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheet. In this way the exam will not be computer mode i.e. CBT type. There will be objective type questions and circles have to be filled on the OMR sheet. Talking about the exam pattern, the written exam will be of 300 marks. There will be questions on General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, IQ, Logical Ability. In this way a total of 150 questions will be asked.
