UP Police Constable Recruitment: On Wednesday, the candidates spent their day waiting for the applications for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police. As the website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) uppbpb.gov.in was updated throughout the day, candidates kept waiting to apply online. After this, after completion of testing late in the night, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board released the link of the website to apply online. After this the application process could start. After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s announcement of relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit for police recruitment candidates, the website for online application had to be updated again. Because of this the first day was spent in this struggle. According to Board Chairperson DG Renuka Mishra, after updating the website, the link to apply has been released on the official website of the Recruitment Board. Now the application of the candidates has started. Earlier it was believed that 25 lakh candidates could apply, whereas after three years relaxation in the age limit, this number is expected to reach 30 lakh. This number will increase due to the applications of over aged youth. The maximum age limit for UP Police Constable exam has been increased from 22 years to 25 years.
