But, State Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has shared information regarding this through social media on Tuesday. In this, it has been said that the application process for recruitment to more than 62 thousand posts of various posts in UP Police will start in the first week of January 2024. In such a situation, it is now believed to be decided during which time candidates will be able to apply for various posts. With this their long wait is going to end.
UP Police Recruitment 2024: 40 lakh candidates likely to appear
After this latest update regarding the recruitment process for the posts of Sub Inspector and Constable in UP Police, it is expected that about 40 lakh candidates may appear in these two recruitment examinations. The recruitment process is to be completed on a total of 62624 posts in the state. In these, the process of online application will be started for 52699 posts of constable. It is being told that the board has almost completed the process of selection of the examination agency. The process has been delayed due to the strict selection criteria. The state government has started the recruitment process for 52699 posts of constable along with 2833 posts of jail warder, 2469 of police sub inspector, 2430 of police radio operator, 545 of clerical cadre, 872 of computer operator, 55 of computer programmer and 521 posts from skilled sportsperson quota. The board is busy in preparations to make it happen.

UP Police Bharti 2024: These people can apply
According to the criteria of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, candidates who have passed 12th and are up to 23 years of age will be able to apply for constable recruitment. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have a bachelor’s degree for the posts of sub-inspector. For the posts of Inspector, the age limit of general category candidates can be 28 years. Whereas reserved category will be given relaxation as per rules. Detailed information in this regard will be given through recruitment advertisement. The question paper will be available to the candidates on the computer screen. Answers to multiple choice questions will have to be filled in the OMR sheet. The written examination will be of total 300 marks and 150 questions will have to be answered.

According to Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination will be conducted in offline mode in OMR sheet. The agency conducting the recruitment examination must have experience in many important tasks. In these, the examination agency will have to prepare the online application form for the application and maintain the website. It will also be the responsibility of the agency to communicate with the candidates through email and SMS, data integration, application processing, preparation of database, ensuring error-free photo-signature and other application details of the candidates. Apart from this, the agency will also work to provide necessary information to the candidates by creating a help desk. The agency will hand over the answer key to Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. The agency will also be responsible for preparing the merit list, printing OMR sheets, sending them to the exam centre, scanning and checking them, preparing question papers and printing and supplying them.
