Aligarh: Yamuna Development Authority has taken major action against builders who have established illegal colonies in Tappal area. On Tuesday, about a dozen bulldozers arrived to demolish the illegal colony. Seven colonies built by builders have been demolished. The authority says that builders disappear after selling houses and land here. Yamuna Development Authority’s OSD Shailendra Kumar also reached the spot with the authority’s team. Who told that this action is being taken for the fourth time and four dozen cases have been registered against illegal colonies in Tappal police station. About 20 villages of Tappal falling in Aligarh area come under the area of ​​Yamuna Development Authority. Yamuna Expressway is also close from here.

Tappal area is near Jewar Airport.

Due to construction of Jewar Airport, builders are setting up illegal colonies in Tappal area. Here builders are doing wrong things by taking land from farmers. Action was taken on seven colonies on Tuesday. 52 cases regarding illegal colony have already been registered in Tappal police station. Even after the first action, builder constructions are still working. In this, Anand Vihar Colony, Metro City, Singhwal, Aqua Green, Ashiana Colony were demolished in Tappal area. In this, three colonies were being developed in 15 hectares, while the remaining colony was being developed in 35 hectares. In Tappal area, land was being sold at the rate of Rs 20 thousand per square metre. Builders have also erected illegal houses here. Which the authority is breaking.

Builders are building illegal colonies

Yamuna Development Authority’s OSD Shailendra Kumar said that the land buyers should first do complete investigation and then buy the land in Tappal area, because the builders will build an illegal colony here but the authority will demolish it, hence the buyers who invest their money here should not get deceived. The builders who are doing land business here are stranded. They run away after selling and later the buyers have to suffer. Lawsuits are also taking place in the police station. In which buyers also have to go to the police station. OSD of Yamuna Development Authority Shailendra Kumar said that there is no opposition from the farmers. He said that we are not causing any harm to the farmers. The demolition is being done here only on the orders of the court. Work is going on to acquire land from the remaining farmers.
