UP News: Writing anti-social elements to the honorable BEO proved costly, MLC Devendra Singh took this step, know the whole matter

Angered by the scolding of the Block Education Officer (BEO) in Kudwar, Sultanpur in UP, the headmaster Surya Prakash Dwivedi committed suicide by consuming toxic substance. In this case, the police have registered a case against the accused Block Education Officer (BEO) Manojit Rao. After receiving the copy of the FIR, the family performed the last rites of the headmaster. All the Block Education Officers posted in the district had decided on a one-day pen down strike to withdraw the FIR lodged against Manojit Rao. For which a letter was written to the District Magistrate demanding a strike against the teachers’ organization and anti-social elements. Taking cognizance of this, Gorakhpur-Faizabad graduate MLC Devendra Pratap Singh has expressed his protest in the House. He has moved a motion in the House demanding action against all the Block Education Officers posted in the district. He said that using the word anti-social element for MLA/MP and MLC in the letter submitted by the Block Education Officers of the district to the District Magistrate is highly condemnable and insulting. This terminology is a direct attack on the pride of the Upper House. There is a violation of the privileges of me and the local MLC Shailendra Pratap Singh. I demand strict action against those accused of violating the privileges of public representatives in the House.
