Banda News: In Banda district of Uttar Pradesh, the matter of finding the dead body of a woman missing from the medical college after giving birth to a girl in the campus is still complicated. Seeing the manner in which the woman’s body was found without clothes, the family members have accused her of rape followed by murder. At the same time, many questions are being raised regarding how the woman disappeared from the hospital after giving birth to a newborn. The police are talking about solving the mystery of the case soon, however, they have not been able to reach any conclusion yet. The forensic team reached the spot and conducted investigation. The woman was to be discharged from the hospital on November 8. Meanwhile, due to BP and other complaints, the medical college staff shifted her to the emergency ward, from where the woman had gone missing on Wednesday. Since then, family members, medical college staff and police were searching for him. Meanwhile, ward boy Shakeel, working in the oxygen plant, saw the body of a woman lying face down in the drain near the bushes behind the SNCU ward. There was a wound on his right shoulder and some of the woman’s clothes were also lying nearby. The ward boy informed supervisor Harshit. As soon as the information was received, the police force including Additional Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Niwas Mishra, CO Sadar Ambuja Trivedi reached the spot. The police team investigated the incident site. The forensic team and dog squad collected evidence.

Woman suddenly disappears after giving birth to daughter

It is being told that a 40-year-old pregnant woman, resident of a village in Atarra Kotwali area in Banda district of UP, was admitted to Rani Durgavati Medical College by her husband on November 3. On the same day the woman gave birth to a daughter. After that she was admitted to bed number three of the Gynecology and Obstetrics ward. The incident happened after delivery. Additional Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Niwas Mishra said that according to police officials, it is not possible to say anything after looking at the dead body. Post mortem is being conducted with a panel of doctors and videography. A slide will also be made regarding the possibility of rape. An investigation is being conducted by the city magistrate regarding the negligence of the medical college staff. Further action will be taken only on the basis of post mortem report.

Medical staff accused of negligence

After this incident, the medical college management has come under the scanner for negligence. Search operations were conducted thrice to find the missing woman from Rani Durgavati Medical College campus. Even after this the police’s hands remained empty. Later, when the dead body was found, the family members expressed anger. He says that if the medical college staff had cooperated, this untoward incident would not have happened. The woman disappeared from the hospital and no employee knew anything for a long time.

The brother who came from the woman’s maternal home alleged that the medical college staff did not listen to him. It was said many times that his wife was missing, please help in finding her. On this, the medical college staff had asked to search for it themselves. Similarly, other relatives of the woman have also alleged that this incident happened due to the negligence of the medical college staff.

The woman’s maternal home is in a village in Manikpur area of ​​Chitrakoot. The woman’s husband has three brothers. He has 1.25 bigha land in his share. He works as a laborer in farming. The husband told that he has a six year old son. This was his wife’s second delivery. The medical college seems to be complicit in the incident. He has demanded disclosure of this incident from the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police.

She was admitted in emergency from the women’s ward. From here the woman herself had gone somewhere on foot. The police have taken statements of the staff nurse and ward boys and sweepers deployed on emergency duty. He is also investigating this matter. There is CCTV footage of a woman leaving the emergency ward alone. It is being verified.
