UP ATS News: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police has succeeded in arresting four accused linked to the Aligarh module of ISIS from different places. According to ATS, Rakib Imam Ansari (29) of Amberneem locality of Kotwali area of ​​Bhadohi district was arrested from Aligarh district and Naved Siddiqui (23), resident of Jat Colony of Sikri Gate area of ​​Sambhal district, Mohammad Noman (27) of Kotla Panju Sarai. ) and Mohammad Nazim, resident of Deepa Sarai of Nakhas area, were arrested from Sambhal. Banned literature, mobile phone and pen drive of terrorist organization ISIS have been recovered from their possession. All these accused came in contact with each other through the meetings of SAMU (Students of Aligarh Muslim University), the student organization of Aligarh and under the guise of the same, they worked to connect new people to ISIS. According to UP ATS, Rakib is a B.Tech and M.Tech from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) who lived in Bandarbagh of Civil Line police station area of ​​Aligarh. Naved Siddiqui of Sambhal district was also doing B.Sc. from AMU. Apart from this, Noman has done BA (Hons) from AMU. Nazim was actively associated with the ISIS module of AMU through his colleague Noman.

The accused were active for a long time

According to Mohit Aggarwal, Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of ATS of UP Police, information was being received for the last several days that some people have taken oath inspired by the ideology of ISIS and they are conspiring against the country to establish the Caliphate. According to the ADG, these people are extremists and on the instructions of their superiors in the organization, they are creating an army of terrorist jihad by uniting together people with similar ideological beliefs. These people are plotting some big incident in the state.

FIR registered against all the arrested accused

According to the ADG, after collecting evidence regarding the activities of ISIS, a case was registered at the ATS police station on November 3 under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. After this, Abdullah Arsalan, Maaj bin Tariq and Wajiuddin, associated with ISIS, were arrested on different dates. During preliminary interrogation, the ATS team got concrete information about the four accused arrested on Friday and Saturday, on the basis of which they were arrested.

Involved in anti-national conspiracy

According to the ATS, the arrested accused were associated with the banned terrorist organization ISIS and they used to distribute the literature of their organization among like-minded people with the aim of waging Jihad, overturning the elected government of the country and implementing Sharia law. They were linking them to ISIS. According to the statement, in this campaign, these people were also involved in secretly imparting Jihadi training and anti-national conspiracy and were planning some major incident in the state.
