UP News: Unfit ambulances running on the road without insurance, ran for 4 lakh kilometers

Agra: Only the ambulances which take normal and serious patients to the hospital are sick at this time. Contrary to the standards of the health department, ambulances are running on the roads in unsafe conditions and are playing with the lives of patients. But the health department is keeping its eyes closed. The insurance of 102 helpline ambulances running on the roads in Agra has expired and their fitness period has also expired. Also, this ambulance has traveled more than the prescribed kilometres. In such a situation, any accident can happen due to these ambulances.

You go to the hospital to get treatment from a doctor and you come to know that the doctor who will treat you is himself ill. Similar is the condition of ambulances carrying patients on the streets of Agra. Many ambulances of 102 helpline are present across the district. But most of the ambulances are not meeting the standards of the health department. A major accident can happen to the patients traveling in these ambulances at any time.

According to the standards of the Health Department, the ambulances being run in the city can run only for 1.5 lakh kilometres. Ambulances running above this will be considered unsafe. But there are many such ambulances of health which have reached more than 1.5 lakh kilometers and have run around 2.5 lakh and 4.5 lakh kilometres. Along with this, there are many ambulances whose fitness has expired and now their insurance has also expired.
