On Friday, groups of MBBS and Nursing students clashed at Maharani Lakshmibai Medical College, Jhansi in UP. Seeing this fight, no one can say that future doctors are prepared here. MBBS intern students attacked nursing students who were going to their hostel to meet the principal. The video of this incident has also surfaced. After this, the nursing students vandalized the principal’s office, causing an uproar there. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control using force. The police have detained people from both sides.

In fact, MBBS intern students had beaten up a nursing student in the burn unit of the Medical College on Tuesday. A committee was formed to investigate this. The inquiry committee had called both the parties to the office on Friday in the presence of Medical College Principal Narendra Singh Sengar. Calling each party, the Principal said that investigation is going on and they should not dispute among themselves. After meeting the principal, the nursing students started going to the hostel, when on the way they were surrounded by MBBS students and started fighting. After some time, the nursing students reached the medical college with their friends. During this, some miscreants vandalized the principal’s office. The case has been reported to police. As soon as the information was received, forces from many police stations, PSC and senior officials reached the spot. The police used force to control the situation and chased away the miscreants. During this time some people were taken into custody and taken to the police station. People from the other party were also detained by the police late in the night.
The principal told this about the incident
Principal Narendra Singh Sengar said that there was a dispute between the students of Nursing and Medical College of Paramedical College. A complaint was also made to the District Magistrate. A committee was formed to investigate this matter. After this, I myself wanted to call both the parties and understand what the matter was. The principal further said that CMS had earlier resolved their dispute. When he came to meet, there was again a conflict over some issue. After this the students of Paramedical College carried out vandalism. We have formed a committee. We will go to every hostel and see what was the reason. Action will be taken against those who vandalized and broke the law. Within the last one month, 70 people have been punished.

The girl students told that a girl was beaten by the students of the medical college, due to which there is an ongoing dispute. Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Kumar said that paramedical students had vandalized in front of the principal’s room. Information was received, upon which we reached the spot with sufficient police force. Now the situation is under control. Action will be taken on the basis of complaint.
