UP News: The country is still suffering the consequences of ‘loans’ given by previous governments to ‘special people’: Rajnath

Lucknow (Agency): Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday accused the previous opposition governments of giving loans to “certain people”, saying such loans were given without any reason in the previous governments, due to which the country is still suffering the consequences.Singh Addressing a gathering organized here on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the launch of ‘Pradhanmantri Vishwakarma Yojana’ on Sunday on Vishwakarma Jayanti, he said, “During the previous governments, loans were given only to some special people, who were more dependent on the government. The government used to be more kind to those people who were close to them. In the previous governments, such loans were given without any reason, due to which the country is still suffering the consequences.”

Expressed confidence in common man, poor and businessmen

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Our government is not the kind of government in which huge loans are given from banks to one’s friends and relatives. We have faith in the common man, the poor brothers and our businessmen. The poor, the people here expressed their trust in us, blessed us, formed our government, hence we also make every effort not to harass them in any way in terms of security and guarantees.” Defense Minister Referring to Mahatma Gandhi, he said, “Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had dreamed of the economic prosperity of the country through the small workers of India. Bapu believed that if the small industries of the country were strengthened then there would be rural development and if the If villages emerge, the pace of our development will be faster.”

Trying to realize Bapu’s dream

He said, “To fulfill Bapu’s dream, we are making every possible effort to take the small industries of the country along in the journey of development. This effort of ours cannot be completed without all of you Vishwakarma brothers.” From Lucknow. Referring to Jan Dhan accounts, Lok Sabha MP Singh said, “Figures show that today more than Rs 2 lakh crore have been deposited in more than 50 crore Jan Dhan accounts. The Jan Dhan accounts which were mocked today are the same Jan Dhan accounts where you can get gas. You get a subsidy of Rs. 10,000 and through the same accounts, you will also get assistance in the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He said, “When senior officers can have identity cards, doctors and engineers can have identity cards, then Why can’t all you workers and artisans have identity cards? Under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, you will also get respect and an identity.”
