UP News: SP leader Azam Khan’s health deteriorated, admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, big operation will happen soon

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi on Monday, where he is to undergo hernia operation. A spokesperson of the hospital said that the SP leader’s condition is currently ‘stable’. The hospital’s vice-chairman (laparoscopic, laser and general surgery) Dr BB Aggarwal said Khan was admitted on Monday morning with a complicated hernia.

The hospital issued a bulletin on Azam’s condition.

The hospital said in a bulletin on Azam’s condition that he was currently not on blood thinners due to a recent heart stent and would be “soon to be operated for a hernia”. Khan was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in May last year for a routine medical check-up.
