Smita Srivastava, a woman resident of Prayagraj, UP, has registered her name in the Guinness World Records. On the basis of his long hair, he has registered his name in the Guinness Books of World Records and has created the record of having the longest hair in the world. She has not grown her hair using any shampoo but has grown her hair 236.22 cm i.e. 7 feet 9 inches long by using natural things. Smita Srivastava (46) is originally a resident of Gyanpur Bhadohi. She is an MA in Ancient History and did her primary education from Mirzapur. In 2001, she got married to Sudesh Srivastava, a resident of Allapur. Sudesh is a businessman by profession. He has two sons. Elder son Atharva Srivastava is doing B.Tech from Noida and younger Shashwat is currently studying in seventh class. Smita told that on November 29, her name appeared in the Guinness Books of World Records. As soon as people came to know about this, there was a rush of people congratulating him at his house. People from the neighborhood also came to take photos and selfies with the Guinness World Record title. She told that after the age of 14, she never used scissors on her hair and never went to the parlor for hair. She gives credit for her long hair to her mother Sushila. He told that even at the age of 75, his mother’s hair is very beautiful, thick and long. After getting her name registered in the Guinness Books of World Records, Smita now wants to earn her name in the whole country and the world by receiving the Padmashree Award.

Smita tells that in 2012 she was honored with Limca Books of Ward for her long hair. After that, after the birth of her second child, her health deteriorated and she had to get one foot of her hair cut. After that his hair started falling. She started getting very worried because she loved her hair very much. After that he thought of preserving his fallen hair. For 20 years now, she has kept all her fallen hair safe in a bag. He plans to donate that hair to a museum or cancer victims.

It takes 3 hours to comb your hair

Smita says that usually she washes her hair once a week on Sunday. To wash her hair, she applies a paste of two eggs, aloe vera, amla and other natural ingredients in an iron pan and washes it for half an hour. After that she spends two to two and a half hours drying and grooming her hair. She also told that due to her long hair, she combs it while standing on the bed with a sheet spread below it. After that, whatever hair falls, it is kept safe. She uses coconut oil in her hair.

Inspired by ancient Indian culture

Smita says that she got inspiration from seeing the long hair of gods and goddesses in ancient Indian Sanskrit. After that she tried to adopt the style of actresses of the 1980s. He told that cutting hair is considered inauspicious in our society. That’s why women did not cut their hair. Long hair enhances the beauty of women. At present, Smita has been honored at many places in the country and state due to her long hair.
