UP News: Samadhi shot dead at wedding ceremony in Noida, dispute going on after marriage of son and daughter

A Samadhi, who had come to attend a wedding ceremony organized on Monday night at Ashok Farm House in Bisrakh Kotwali area in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, shot dead his own Samadhi. There was a dispute between the two Samadhis. After this, Hapur resident Shekhar Yadav took out a pistol among the guests and shot and killed his brother-in-law, Hoshiarpur resident Ashok Yadav. There was a stampede due to firing at the wedding. Relatives informed the police. But, before the police arrived, the accused fled from the spot. The police took the injured to the nearest hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

This is the whole matter

According to the information, accused Shekhar Yadav had married his daughter to Ashok Yadav’s son 3 years ago. However, there was separation between the two after marriage. Both of them attended the wedding ceremony on Monday. During this time there was a dispute between the two regarding some matter. The dispute escalated so much that Shekhar shot Ashok. Ashok, who was bleeding due to bullet injury, was taken to the hospital. However, he died on the way. The police reached the spot and identified the accused after scanning the CCTV footage. At the same time, after taking a complaint from the victim’s side, a case has been registered against the accused Shekhar and his associates. Ashok Yadav was a resident of Rajwada village of Simbhaoli area. He was the former head of the village. At present, he lived with his family in Ghaziabad. ADCP Greater Noida West Hridesh Katheria said that he was shot dead due to an ongoing family dispute between two relatives.

Five teams formed – DCP Central Noida

Relatives told that Shekhar Yadav had married his daughter to Ashok’s son. Crores of rupees were spent in the marriage. But, soon after marriage, disputes started between husband and wife. The matter reached the police. Husband and wife separated. After this the Panchayat was held. There was talk of an agreement on giving one crore rupees. It was decided that the boy’s side i.e. Ashok would give one crore rupees to the girl’s side i.e. Shekhar. However, Ashok did not pay the full amount. In this case, DCP Central Noida Suniti Singh said that the police stopped all the guests inside the farm house and investigated. Waiters have been questioned. Their statements have been recorded. 5 teams have been formed to nab accused Shekhar and his associates.
