Bareilly News: of Uttar Pradesh Bareilly Hafizganj police station has detained two cow smugglers in the encounter. During the police encounter, a smuggler and a policeman were injured by bullets. It has come to light that several cases have been registered against the accused. Cow slaughter took place on October 25 near Sundari village of Hafizganj police station area of Bareilly Dehat. The police was busy searching for the accused. The police team was checking to catch them. Meanwhile, on Saturday, suspicious people were seen on a bike near Pilibhit bypass on Ladpur Gauntia road near Grem village. The police team tried to catch them, but they started running away. Police fired on the accused, police also fired in defense. In this, a miscreant was shot in the leg, due to which he got injured. Constable Heera Lal Rathi was also injured in the firing by the miscreants. Illegal pistols and cartridges have also been recovered from the miscreants. Among the smugglers caught are Salim, resident of Todipura village of Tanda police station area of Rampur district and his companion Salim Putdolpuri, resident of Bhagatpur village of Bhagatpur police station area of Moradabad district. Police have claimed that the accused have confessed to the cow slaughter incident of October 25 while in police custody.
Accomplices of accused criminals absconding
Bareilly Police says that two accused involved in this incident, including Sameer Kunja, resident of Senthal, Nagar Panchayat of Hafizganj police station area, Kunji, resident of Meham, Rohtak district of Haryana, absconded. Two illegal pistols, three cartridges, a bike and animal slaughtering equipment have been recovered from the accused. After taking action against the accused, preparations are underway to send them to jail.
