During his stay in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to meet the children studying in the Government Deaf and Dumb School located in Humayunpur on Monday morning. There was no limit to the happiness of these deaf and dumb disabled children after finding the Chief Minister among them. After knowing about the well-being of the children in Sanket, the Chief Minister visited the exhibition put up by the children. The children had made excellent artefacts and decorative items by themselves. The Chief Minister praised the skills of the children openly. On this occasion, he inspected the teachers hall, computer room, smart class, library and hearing end room in the school premises and took stock of the arrangements there.

During this, the Chief Minister inquired about the quality of the equipment used in imparting education to deaf and dumb children. The Chief Minister also interacted with the students and a teacher conveyed his words to the children through signs. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the school should be made residential by constructing a hostel. This will provide a lot of relief to disabled children from economically weak families. Their talent will develop. Children will be given a safe environment in the residential school. On the problems regarding the speed of transportation to Sanket School, he said that the District Magistrate and the Municipal Corporation should ensure that there is a way to reach this school. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the name ‘Divyang’ instead of ‘Disabled’ to bring change in the lives of the disabled people. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the state government is continuously working to honor the disabled people and include them in the main stream of the society. Is. The Chief Minister said that he is very happy to come to this school after a long time. Earlier its building was dilapidated, the government has constructed a new building here.
