Noida : The Yogi government is moving at a fast pace to make the state a hub of the medical device industry. The Medical Device Park being built on 350 acres in Gautam Budh Nagar will not only manufacture medical equipment but will also provide employment in large numbers. A total of 59 entrepreneurs have been allotted land so far by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
After the construction of the manufacturing plant for equipment ranging from oxygen concentrator to X-ray machine, anaesthesia, cardiac catheter, orthopedic implant, where about 5000 new employment opportunities will be available directly, while indirectly 25 more will be created in the entire state. About 1000 jobs are expected to be created.

According to the data released by the Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), a total of 59 plots ranging from 4000 square meters to 1000 square meters have been allotted to companies manufacturing medical device equipment. These companies will set up their own factories here by investing more than 415 crores. Companies will manufacture orthopedic implants, oxygen concentrator, anesthesia needle and kit, anesthesia work station, spinal implant, X ray machine, endoscopic, gastrology medical device, biliary stent, ICU ventilator, ECG machine, trauma management implant
Coronary Stent, Hemodialysis Kit, CVC Kit, AVF Needle, Heart-Lung Bypass Kit, Cancer Care Equipment, Video Colposcopic Machine, Chemotherapy Device, Radiology Device, Nuclear Imaging Device, Intraocular Lens, Ophthalmic Medical Device, Portable Mobile Lab, Electrolyte Analyzer Will manufacture Bio Safety Cabinet, Hematology Analyser, Vitro Diagnostic Kit, RTPCR Kovid 19 Kit etc. There is a possibility of a big change in UP due to the manufacturing of such a large number of medical equipment.

Talking about the top 10 employers in the Medical Device Park, these include MDD Medical Systems India Pvt Ltd (445 employees), Oxin Medical Pvt Ltd (400 employees), Genuine Medical Pvt Ltd (400 employees), Innovation Meditech Pvt Ltd (350 Employees), Romsons Group Pvt Ltd (300 Employees), AGVA Health Care (200 Employees), Aviance Biomedical (151 Employees), SPM Medicare Pvt Ltd (150 Employees), NuLife Care (150 Employees), Narina Life Science Pvt Ltd (150 Employees) (110 employees).

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, Dr. Arunveer Singh, under the guidance of the Chief Minister, fast work is being done to make this Medical Devices Park equipped with world-class facilities. He told that two flatted factories will also be constructed by the authority. Due to which industrialists with low budget will also be helped to set up a factory on rent and start their own business.
