UP News: Meat and fish shops will remain closed in the state today, CM Yogi declared November 25 as meatless day.

CM Yogi has given strict orders to keep all meat shops closed in the state on 25th November. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to keep slaughter houses also closed on this day. CM Yogi said that on the birth anniversary of great men, meat-fish shops and all slaughter houses will remain closed. Sindhi community has expressed gratitude for this decision of CM Yogi. After this order of CM Yogi, Special Secretary Dharmendra Pratap Singh has issued a letter to all the Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates and Municipal Commissioners of Uttar Pradesh.

Sadhu TL Vaswani’s birth anniversary is on 25th November.

Let us tell you that 25th November is the birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani. In view of this, CM Yogi has taken this decision. The Special Secretary said in his sent letter that on the birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani, all slaughter houses and meat-fish shops will be kept closed. Apart from this, in the order, just as all meat shops are kept closed on major festivals like Gautam Buddha Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti and Shivratri, similarly from this time onwards all slaughter houses and meat shops will remain closed on 25th November. For this, CM Yogi has instructed the officers to keep the meat shops and slaughter houses located in all the municipal bodies closed and has also ordered to strictly follow it.

Know here who was Sadhu TL Vaswani

TL Vaswani was a saint, his full name is Thanvardas Leelaram Vaswani. He was born on 25 November 1879. He died on 16 January 1966. He was an educationist and freedom fighter of India. Vasnani had started the Meera movement. TL Vasnani had done a lot of work to stop killing of animals. He also propagated Hinduism in Europe. Sadhu TL Vaswani, after completing higher education, left the government job and joined the freedom struggle at an early age. Vaswani had participated in the World Religious Conference in Berlin as a representative of India. Where Vasnani had told about India in his impressive speech. At that time he was just 30 years old.
