The dead body of a loving couple has been found on the banks of Betwa river in Lalitpur, UP. The boy and the girl had their hands around each other’s neck. Foam was coming out of both of their mouths. Along with this, both of them had bags at their feet. The dead body was first seen by children playing cricket near Sita Kund. When the children saw the dead body, they started shouting loudly. Hearing the noise, local people reached the spot. After this the police was informed. Police reached the spot after getting information and conducted investigation. Cigarettes were found lying on the spot. Along with this, the slippers of the young man and the girl were kept together on both sides. Police expressed the possibility that due to love affair, both of them committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. First the police interrogated the local people. During this, people told that these people are not residents of the vicinity of the river. After this the police circulated the photos of both of them. Both were identified after about two hours. The boy has been identified as Balkishan (21), son of Kashiram Raikwar, resident of Mohalla Chaubayana, Talbehat. The girl turned out to be Rimjhim alias Munmun, daughter of Rafiq Khan, resident of the same locality. After the information, the family members of both reached the spot. The family members of both told that Balkishan and Rimjhim were missing from their house since Sunday evening. After filling the Panchnama, the police sent the bodies of both of them for postmortem.
The boy’s ring ceremony was the next day.
The postmortem of both was conducted on Tuesday. Both their families were present in the postmortem house. The girl’s brother said that my sister was studying in intermediate. We are two brothers. Rimjhim was our only sister. My father has passed away. Apart from this we cannot tell anything. Balkishan’s father Kashiram, sitting in the postmortem house, said that his son was not educated. He was a waiter in a hotel. Balkishan is engaged to a girl in Jakhaura town. We had to go there for her baby shower on Monday. Bhagwat Katha is going on in our locality. On Sunday, after having dinner, at around 3.00 pm, he told his mother that he was going to listen to Bhagwat Katha. After this he did not return home. Father Kashiram further told that I have four daughters and two sons. He was the third among 6 children. His two elder sisters are married. Now Balkishan’s marriage was to take place. My son did not consume anything. He doesn’t even eat gutkha, now we don’t know how he got cigarettes there. Kashiram further said that the girl’s house is 100 meters away from our house. I don’t know whether my son talked to him or knew him. That girl never came to my house nor did we ever see both of us together. We only know that the girl with whom our son’s marriage was fixed in Jakhaura, my son liked that girl. She had also said yes to marriage. We were preparing for the baby shower. Had brought all the luggage.

On Tuesday, after the postmortem of Balkishan and Rimjhim, the bodies were handed over to their families. According to the doctors, no marks of any kind of injury were found on the bodies of both of them. There is a possibility of death of both of them due to poisoning. However, since the cause of death is not clear, the remains of both have been preserved. Here, Rimjhim’s family has buried her body in the graveyard located in Talbehat area. Whereas the last rites of lover Balkishan have been performed in Muktidham. There is talk in the area that everyone knew about their love affair. Both belonged to different religions. The girl came to know that the boy’s marriage has been fixed. The families of both do not accept their relationship. Therefore both of them committed suicide.
