Lucknow : Rs 15 lakh was looted from a car rider near Mataria Toll Plaza of Hasanganj Kotwali area on Agra Expressway. Late night on the expressway, miscreants looted Rs 15 lakh from the accountant of a businessman. The accountant of the wood merchant was coming to Bangarmau from Lucknow with cash worth Rs 15 lakh. According to the accountant, he had asked for a lift from an Innova car rider to go to Bangarmau from near Buddheshwar in Lucknow. Near the Mataria toll plaza on the expressway, the robbers left the bookkeeper bleeding by hitting him several times with the butt of a machete. After this, he snatched the bag full of money and threw it from the car. After committing the crime the miscreants fled away. The robbers escaped with cash worth Rs 15 lakh. SP Unnao Siddharth Shankar Meena reached the spot and conducted investigation. Kakori CO of Lucknow Commissionerate Police has also reached the spot for investigation.
