But, when the watermelon was removed, a huge quantity of liquor bottle was found inside it. The police have recovered about 299 cases of illegal liquor from the spot and arrested two people.

Disclosing the incident, ADCP Paschim Lakhan Yadav said that the Kanpur police along with the UP STF have seized a cache of illegal liquor. The seized liquor was being taken to Bihar. Liquor smugglers were taking the liquor by hiding it under the guise of watermelon. The police have just arrested the driver and another person. Information about the gang is being taken by questioning them. Soon the police will arrest the main accused as well.
