Aligarh: Aligarh Police has recovered English liquor worth about Rs 70 lakh which was being illegally transported from Amritsar to the North Eastern state. The truck driver and operator have been arrested in the incident. A case has been registered and investigation is being done. According to the police, liquor was being brought from Amritsar by filling it with cotton and straw sacks in the truck, but Akrabad police station and Barla police took joint action and caught them near Panaiti flyover.
