Bareilly : The Kartik (Ganga) fair, organized every year at Chaubari Ghat of Ramganga river in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, will start from 23rd November. Its main bath will take place on 27th November. A crowd of lakhs of devotees will gather in it. Regarding this, the administration police has informed the departmental officers. The responsibility has been given to. Along with this, a large number of police forces will be deployed. Kartik fair will be held from 23rd to 30th November. The fair will be inaugurated on 23rd November on the day of Ekadashi. DM Ravindra Kumar has appointed a committee of 13 fair managers to conduct the fair. The contract for the fair has been signed for Rs 16 lakh 50 thousand. DM issued orders and appointed fair managers Amarjeet Singh, Jaiveer Singh, Santaesh Singh, Ram Kumar Singh, Yogendra Singh, Sushil Kumar Singh, Raj Bahadur, Ramesh Singh alias Gokil Singh, Pradeep Pandey, Sukhpal Singh, Ranjit Singh, Awadhesh Singh, Instructions have been given to Rajesh that out of the amount of Rs 16.50 lakh to be deposited by all the above mentioned managers for administrative arrangements, 75 percent of the amount should be deposited in the fair account of this office (President Chaubari Mela) in the State Bank of India main branch court before 23rd November. But, the remaining amount will have to be deposited before 27th November. The arrangements given to the managers, and the income and expenditure will be monitored at the level of Deputy Fair Magistrate/Tehsildar Sadar, and Fair Magistrate/SDM Sadar. No action will be taken against the appointed fair managers. If adverse facts or any such act comes to light, which would create a possibility of breach of peace, then the appointment of the fair managers will be cancelled. Along with this, it will also be mandatory to obtain NOC from the provincial section of the Public Works Department for installing swings in the fair in view of public safety. .
