UP News: Kanpur IIT’s startup gets award, this is its specialty

Kanpur: IIT Kanpur’s startup has received the award. NASSCOM has honored the purifier that removes polluted gas and carbon dioxide and provides oxygen with the Spotlight Award. This purifier has been developed by IIT startup Climax Labs. The startup has received the award in the Ideation to Engineering Leadership category. In-charge of the Institute’s Startup Incubation and Innovation Center is Prof. Ankush Sharma and other scientists congratulated the startup on the achievement. Startup Climax Labs has developed a special purifier, which can be kept in the house to not only get pure air. Rather it is also used for decoration. It does filtration at 360 degrees.

Purifies the air in the room from polluted particles of PM-2.5 and PM-5. This purifier is capable of eliminating all types of dangerous and polluted gases. The purifier absorbs carbon dioxide from the room and gives oxygen, which keeps the air pure. Sufficient amount of oxygen remains. This purifier is also very helpful in reducing fatigue and stress. The purifier eliminates pollutants like particulate matter, smoke smell, harmful microorganisms, pet dander, pollen, airborne dust.

This digital pot will automatically tell you the need for sunlight and water

When are plants feeling hot and when do they need sunlight? Now the pot itself will give information like when to water, whether there is moisture in the soil or not. Dr. Students of Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH) have developed a digital pot, in which LCD will give information about temperature, humidity and water requirement. Digital flower pot is being tested under pilot project at 50 places in the city. Students have also applied for a patent. Himanshi Kushwaha and Niharika Gaur, chemical engineering students of the institute, along with their colleagues Mahi Tyagi, Harshit Sengar, Devendra Srivastava, Anurag Tiwari, Shashank Patel and Aryan Singh have developed Plantech Innovation Startup. Under this, students have developed a special digital pot on IoT (Internet of Things) and coding technology. The price is between Rs 1800 to Rs 2000. Director Prof. Rachna Asthana, Research Center in-charge Dr. Manish Rajput and Rohit congratulated.
