Kanpur : People will now be able to enjoy Kanpur Boat Club at low cost. In this regard, a meeting was held at the Divisional Commissioner’s camp office. Divisional Commissioner Amit Gupta, while approving the decision of the Board, said that now people will be able to visit the Boat Club in the morning and evening for only Rs 50. Earlier, Rs 80 per person had to be spent. At the same time, along with pre-wedding shooting, the prices of morning walk have also been reduced. The boat club located at Ganga Barrage will also be expanded. Kanpur’s first floating restaurant will also be opened here. Apart from this, cruise will also be operated from Kanpur to Bithoor. For the convenience of tourists along with cruise operations, sheds will be constructed for protection from sun and rain. According to club secretary and ADM City Rajesh Kumar, the report is being prepared.
Water Rally from Kanpur to Prayagraj
It was decided in the meeting that now Ganga Water Rally will be organized between Kanpur and Prayagraj in February 2024. The survey of Kanpur to Prayagraj water route has been completed. Coordinator Neeraj Srivastava said that on December 24, one year of operation of the boat club is going to be completed. The first anniversary will be celebrated with exciting events. Divisional Commissioner has given instructions to prepare for the events.
These rates were fixed
● It will cost Rs 50 from 9 to 11 in the morning and 6 to 8 in the evening.
● Monthly fee for morning walker will now be Rs 450 instead of Rs 600.
● You will be able to take a morning walk every morning till 9 o’clock by taking a ticket of Rs 20.
● Now three thousand rupees will have to be paid for four hours for a pre-wedding shoot with eight people.
● For a shoot of two hours, Rs 2000 will have to be paid and for more than four hours, Rs 6000 will have to be paid.
