UP News: Inspector returning after investigating a case in Firozabad was shot dead, Range IG reached the spot

Sub-inspector Dinesh Kumar Mishra was posted at Aaraon police station. Dinesh Mishra (55), son of Indrasen Mishra, a resident of Sadaatpur village of Indargarh police station of district Kannauj, was returning from Chanderpur village of Aaraon after a discussion at around 8.15 pm on Thursday evening. There was also a private person with him. He was coming sitting on his bike. Shots were fired on the deserted road of the village. He died due to bullet injury on his right side. The matter is being investigated. Teams have been formed. Police is claiming to take harshest action against the culprit. SP Dehat Kumar Ranvijay Singh, CO Sirsaganj Praveen Tiwari and police station in-charge Aaraon reached the spot as soon as the information came about the shooting of the inspector. The injured constable was brought to the Government Trauma Center for treatment, where the doctors declared the constable dead.

Along with informing the relatives of the Inspector about the incident, the dead body has been kept in the post-mortem house. The reason for the murder could not be clarified. The incident is of Thursday. Dinesh Mishra, resident of Sadaatpur village of Indergarh police station of Kannauj district, was posted as sub-inspector of Indrasen Mishra Aaraon police station.
