UP News: Income Tax Department’s action against oil traders’ establishments in Agra continues for the second day

Agra. Income tax raids on about 25 locations of mustard oil traders in Agra continue for the second day. It is being told that in this action the Income Tax team has recovered cash and jewelery worth crores of rupees. These businessmen are evading annual tax. More than 300 employees and officers are involved in the Income Tax proceedings. On Wednesday, several teams of the Income Tax Department in Agra simultaneously raided the establishments and residences of mustard oil traders. The action started on 25 establishments of three businessmen on Wednesday morning is continuing on the second Thursday also. Investigation has found cash and jewelery worth crores of rupees. Whose bills are being inquired about. The businessmen whose places were raided by the team have an annual turnover of crores of rupees. Continuous action is going on at about 25 locations of the businessman located in Delhi, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh and Gurugram including Agra. It is expected that a large amount of tax evasion will be found in the Income Tax Department’s action.

Action on establishments of BP Oil Mill, Sharda & Company, SK Industries

From around 7:30 am on Monday morning, the Investigation Wing simultaneously conducted raids on the establishments of BP Oil Mill, Sharda & Company, SK Industries in Agra. BP Oil Mill does business in the name of Hathi Marka and Sharda & Company does business of Mustard Oil in the name of Pehalwan. The same SK Industries deals in oil sales and purchase. According to the information given by the officials, they were getting information about tax evasion by businessmen by showing less income in the records for a long time. On which work was done for several days and on Monday raids were carried out in cities of many states including Agra. In this action, the team has seized cash and jewelery worth crores of rupees. The documents related to whose transactions are being investigated.
