UP News: In Pratapgarh, 90 year old groom and 86 year old bride got married again in the court, due to these reasons they got separated.

In Pratapgarh, UP, due to greed for property, Kalyugi sons had kept their parents separated for a long time. Not only this, a case was also filed between the two couples. But on Saturday, as soon as the 90 year old groom and 86 year old bride garlanded each other, the entire family court erupted in applause. Taking the Constitution as witness, both of them resolved to support each other till the end of their lives. When an elderly couple, separated because of their children, got married once again, everyone had tears in their eyes. This unique meeting was witnessed by District Judge Abdul Shahid, Chief Justice of Family Court Sureshchandra Arya, Legal Services Authority Secretary ADJ Neeraj Baranwal, Additional District Judge Sumit Panwar and other judicial officers.

Were separated because of sons

The elderly couple, putting aside all their grievances, garlanded each other in front of everyone and resolved to spend their lives together. Both said that there is no separation between them. Just because of greed for property, the son had separated both of them about a year ago. Both of them expressed their views in the court and transferred half the property in the name of both the sons. Shivprasad Pathak of Kishunganj, Pathak’s village in Kandhai police station area, and his wife Prabhu Devi, both were living separately for the last one year. In 2010, Shivprasad Pathak, who had retired from the post of supervisor of the Public Works Department, was separated from his wife by his sons over the division of property.

Not only this, the younger son, who was keeping the mother with him, had also filed a case on behalf of the mother against the father under Section 25 to pay compensation. After remarrying on Saturday, Shivprasad Pathak said that both of us had separated because of our sons. Today we have become one. Now we will never be apart. It was the sons who separated. We have two sons. A case is going on against the elder one. Many cases are registered against him. I am very happy today. After the marriage, both of them sat on a bench in the court premises and kept talking for hours. Husband and wife kept sharing old memories with each other. Both of their eyes filled with tears while talking.

So many cases were settled in Lok Adalat

Let us tell you that 102952 cases were disposed of in the National Lok Adalat held on Saturday in Pratapgarh. Of these, 5 thousand 324 were related to criminal, 11 NI Act, 119 electrical, 21 motor cycle, 52 matrimonial, 86 civil, 1112 bank loan, 20 BSNL, 4 consumer forum and 96 thousand 203 were related to what collect. A fine of Rs 4 lakh 62 thousand 490 was collected in criminal cases. A compensation of Rs 81 lakh 45 thousand 520 was given for the fatal accident. During this period, inheritance certificate worth Rs 1 crore 80 lakh 7 thousand 166 was issued. A settlement of Rs 6 crore 28 lakh 60 thousand was reached in the bank case, Rs 1 lakh 96 thousand 597 in the BSNL case and Rs 1 lakh 96 thousand 597 in the consumer forum.
