UP News: In Kanpur, a female teacher put pressure on a class 10 student to convert, FIR registered on the orders of the court.

Kanpur News: Once again a case of religious conversion has come to light in Kanpur district of the state. This time a female teacher has pressurized a student to convert to religion by luring him with sexual allure. In this case, on the orders of the court, an FIR has been registered in the Cantt police station against four people including the teacher who was pressurizing for religious conversion. In this case, the police did not take the matter seriously in the beginning, due to which the victim’s father took refuge in the court. Now, after the order of Additional Civil Judge Junior Division, Cantt Police has registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation. According to the incident, a resident of Shuklaganj said that his son is a class 10 student in a school in Cantt. On September 30, when he saw his son’s mobile chat, the school teacher’s chat was present in it, in which she was sexually luring his son and pressurizing him to convert to religion. According to the father, when he talked about it in school, the teacher accepted his act. After this, the teacher along with her husband and brother started locating her son’s house. The father alleges that during this time the teacher’s brother threatened his life and property.

Pressure on school children to convert to religion

In this case of Kanpur, the father said in the report that children of other religions are also pressurized in the school for religious conversion. For this reason the teacher inspired his son to have sex. The father said that regarding this, he submitted a complaint letter to Joint CP, CWC, ACP Cantt and the police station, but no action was taken, after which he took refuge in the court. On the orders of the court, Cantt Police has registered a case.

Case filed on court’s order

ACP Cantt Brijnarayan Singh says that in this case, on the orders of the court, death threats have been made against the school manager, teacher, her husband and brother, sections 9, 10 and 23 of the POCSO Act and Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act. FIR has been registered under Section 3 and 5(1) of IPC. Whatever facts emerge in the investigation, action will be taken accordingly.
