UP News: High Court bans running of bulldozers on shops and houses in Akbarnagar Colony, Lucknow.

Lucknow: The High Court has banned the use of bulldozers on the houses and shops of the declared illegal Akbar Nagar located on the banks of the Kukrail drain in the capital. The High Court says that people should not be removed until rehabilitation is done. Lucknow district administration had started the demolition of these houses and shops from Thursday morning itself. With this the local people started protesting against the demolition. BJP Mandal President Mangal Jha also reached there with his supporters. When he protested against the demolition, the police beat him with sticks. After this the protests there also calmed down. After this, the district administration squad again started demolishing houses and shops. However, after the High Court order, the bulldozer action has stopped.
