UP News: Healthy life is important, Vice President Dhankhar said in Atal Health Fair

Lucknow: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the two-day Atal Swasthya Mela in Lucknow on Sunday. On this occasion, he said that he misses Atal ji a lot. Atal ji remained firm on his principles, but was very soft on touchy issues. Had he been there, he would have seen that his India is rapidly rising to the top of the world.

Referring to the Ayushman Bharat health programme, the Vice President said that the Ayushman Bharat program is the largest health welfare program in the world. Implementing such a program in a country of Rs 140 crore is a herculean task. Modi ji has made it a ground reality. On this occasion, he also praised the cleanliness campaign program and said that the cleanliness program has brought unprecedented changes in the health and lives of the people.

Referring to the Women’s Reservation Bill, he said that on September 21, the Indian Parliament created history by passing the Women’s Reservation Bill. With the passing of this bill, participation of one-third women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies will be ensured. Reservation is both horizontal and vertical. Meaning, it will also be ensured that women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will also get reservation under this rule. This reservation will ensure social equality and justice.
