UP News: Government in action, action taken against DM, SDM and Tehsildar of these districts, know who was punished and what?

Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously monitoring revenue matters. Now the blame has started falling on the officers performing poorly. Yogi government has taken action against DMs of 12 districts of different districts of the state, including SDMs and Tehsildars of various tehsils. In the high-level review of the Revenue Council held on October 31, explanations have been given to the District Magistrates, warnings have been given to the Sub-District Magistrates and adverse entries have been given to the Tehsildars of the districts which have performed poorly in settlement of total revenue promises, measurement, transfer and distribution of Kurra. Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Council Sudhir Garg said that the Chief Minister has special emphasis on the speedy disposal of revenue matters in the state. Many times challenges to law and order arise due to revenue disputes. In such a situation, instructions have been given by the Chief Minister to run a special campaign of two months for prompt and timely disposal of pending cases in 2941 revenue courts of the state. Let us tell you that the settlement of pending revenue cases is being reviewed every 15 days at the level of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has given strict instructions to the poorly performing officers to improve their functioning.

Action taken against officials of these districts and tehsils

Under this, clarification has been sought from the District Magistrates of Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Ayodhya and Rae Bareli, which are the worst performing districts in disposal of total revenue cases. Apart from this, warnings have been issued to the sub-district magistrates of five tehsils Safipur (Unnao), Loni (Ghaziabad), Koraon (Prayagraj), Nakud (Saharanpur) and Fatehabad (Agra) which are performing poorly in metering matters. In this matter, clarification has been sought from the District Magistrates of poorly performing districts Meerut, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur and Agra.

Similarly, adverse entries have been sent to the tehsildars of Duddhi (Sonbhadra), Mihipurwan (Bahraich), Obra (Sonbhadra), Meja (Prayagraj) and Raebareli (Raebareli) for their negligence in settling the name transfer cases. At the same time, clarification has been sought from the District Magistrates of Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Ayodhya and Sant Ravidas Nagar districts with poor disposal. Apart from this, warnings were issued to the sub-district magistrates of tehsils Bhadohi (Sant Ravidas Nagar), Raniganj (Pratapgarh), Haidergarh (Barabanki), Handia (Prayagraj) and Campierganj (Gorakhpur) which were performing poorly in disposal of Kurra-division cases.
