Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh’s Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Special Task Force (UP STF) Amitabh Yash has described the gangster Anil Dujana encounter as a major achievement of the police. Talking to the media on Friday, the ADGP made it clear how important it was for Dujana to be killed. ADGP Amitabh Yash said that the way Anil Dujana used to carry out incidents with automatic weapons, he was in awe of him.
Dujana was running the gang from inside the jail
Gangster Dujana used to operate his gang from inside the jail as well. He was being monitored by the STF for a long time. Anil Dujana was synonymous with terror in western Uttar Pradesh. Due to its contact with many criminal mafia, the scope of its crime was large. On coming out of jail, he was threatening the witnesses. The police had also provided security to several witnesses.
Widened the scope of recovery in collaboration with many gangs
ADGP Amitabh Yash told that Anil Dujana had a criminal history of 21 years. Over 65 cases were registered against it. Of these, 18 cases are of murder. He had committed this murder with betel nut. Some of the murders were done out of revenge. A large number of weapons used to live on Dujana. Its scope of recovery was huge with many gangs. There was panic among the witnesses as soon as they came from jail.
Guddu and Shaista will soon be caught by the police
Gangster Anil Dujana was going to carry out some major incident on Wednesday, as advanced weapons were recovered from him. Shaista Parveen, Bombay Guddu have not been arrested yet, ADG has given clarification. Amitabh Yash said that the district police is continuously working in search of Shaista. Raids are being conducted in the areas around Prayag. Guddu and Shaista will soon be caught by the police.
Came out of jail 7 days back, killed in encounter
UP STF ADG Amitabh Yash said after the encounter that “Our team surrounded the wanted criminal Anil Dujana in a village in Meerut on Thursday afternoon. Dujana fired at our team with the intention of fleeing and he was killed in retaliatory firing. ” Anil Dujana, who is considered one of the biggest gangsters of Western UP, came out of jail a week back.
