Ghaziabad: A gang that honeytraps and blackmails people through dating apps has been busted in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram police station. ACP Swatantra Kumar informed the media about this on Friday. The ACP says, “On September 14, a person came to Indirapuram police station and lodged a complaint that a woman had tried to extort money. Blackmailed her by taking her nude photos and videos and extorted Rs 50,000. After the entire case was revealed, an accused named Deepanshi was arrested today.
Honeytrap gang chief Shaheen Parveen
ACP Swatantra Kumar told that the leader of their gang is Shaheen Parveen. They had formed two gangs. Deepanshi was a member of a gang. She used to talk to people on dating apps and honeytrap them. She used to call them to her flat and after talking to them, she would make nude videos of them. After that Robin and Ankit would come and beat that person and threaten him demanding money. Police have so far arrested Deepanshi, Shaheen and Ankit. Robin is absconding and a team has been formed to find him. Another gang has also been detected whose leader is also Shaheen. A team has been formed to catch him also.
