UP News: For the first time in the country, aerial circumambulation of religious places will start from Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan.

Mathura News: Tourists coming to Mathura Vrindavan district of Uttar Pradesh will now be able to visit pilgrimage sites by helicopter. Along with this, they will also get the benefit of helicopter service for Tajnagari. Its exercise has started. Preparations to start helicopter service for sightseeing in Agra and Mathura have been completed. Heliports are ready at both the places. It will be operated on Public Private Partnership i.e. PPP mode. The MoU has been signed with M/s Rajas Aero Sports and Adventure Private Limited at Paryatan Bhawan in the presence of Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh. The Tourism and Culture Minister said that it is likely to be inaugurated on December 25, on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. With the facility of heliport at these places, domestic and foreign tourists and devotees will get the opportunity of air service. This will increase the number of tourists, increase activities at the local level and create new employment opportunities. He said that in the next phase, the process of selection of organization is going on for its operation on public private partnership mode at other major tourist destinations of the state, Lucknow, Kapilvastu, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Naimisharanya.

Will start with six plus one seater helicopter

It is being told that first six plus one seater helicopter will be operated. This number may increase as per need. Three types of services will be provided in Mathura. First aerial tour of Mathura, second aerial tour of entire Mathura and third connectivity tour. This is happening for the first time in the country, when air parikrama of a religious place is being started. Similarly, a tour will be organized in Agra under Air Safari Agra. Keeping in mind the foreign tourists in Agra, connectivity with Delhi Airport will be provided. Under ultra luxury facilities, tourists can come directly to Agra by helicopter. Besides, facility of hot air balloon will also be provided. Taj Mahal Air Safari will also be organized for the first time.

UP ranks first in the country in terms of domestic tourism

The Tourism and Culture Minister said that UP is developing very fast in the tourism sector. Currently, we are at first place in the country in terms of domestic tourism. Constant efforts are being made to achieve this feat in the case of foreign tourists also. Agra is the place in the state where foreign tourists are the highest. Mathura, the city of Lord Krishna is situated near Agra. Helicopter service is being started to meet the needs of tourists and to provide special services. It is being given a 30 year lease to M/s Rajas Aerosport and Adventure Private Limited for operation on Public Private Partnership.

Exotic Acacia will be removed from 37 forest areas of Braj

Meanwhile, Kanha’s city Mathura will once again be seen blooming with Dwapara era plants. The Supreme Court has given permission to remove plants like exotic acacia, kikar and plant trees like Kadamba, banyan, palash etc. The bench of Justice Sanjay Kaul has approved it. Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad CEO Nagendra Pratap said that the Forest Department had filed an application in the Supreme Court for eco-restoration of forest areas. Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul has given permission regarding this. Under this, exotic acacias will be removed. In their place, trees of indigenous species like Kadamba, Tamal, Varna, Peepal, Pakad, Banyan, Peelu, Khinni, Jamun, Mango, Shisham, Kaitha and Tesu etc. will be replaced.
