Lucknow News: The conflicts over residential land in Uttar Pradesh will now be curbed. The state government has started efforts for this and the work of drone mapping is being done at a rapid pace. Till now, a large number of people have got its benefits in various tehsils of Lucknow. Drone mapping of 500 out of 670 villages of Lucknow has started. According to officials, this map has now been sent to the Survey of India. After the completion of the further process, the people living on the land inhabited by these villages will start getting housing. In fact, to resolve land disputes, Yogi Adityanath government has started mapping all the villages and giving land certificate i.e. Gharauni to every family living there. With this exercise of the government, the people living on the respective land in the villages will be able to get their rights and there will also be a reduction in the cases of land disputes. So far, Gharauni has been distributed to 14169 people of 105 villages in Lucknow. This work is going on fast, in the coming days people living in villages of all tehsils of Lucknow district will get houses.

According to Additional District Magistrate Administration, Lucknow Shubhi Singh, the houses will be distributed in other villages soon. In fact, till long there was no accounting of the population’s land in the village. Generally, the land is considered to be the land of whoever has possession of it. In such a situation, the weak and poor sections have to suffer huge losses. Now after investigation at many levels, Gharauni is being made. In this, the first survey of the village related to drones is done. Where someone’s house is, what is the extent of the well or hand pump, cow shed or courtyard at his house is recorded in the map.

On this basis, lime is sprayed in the village. After this, the accountant goes to the spot and investigates to ensure that everything is as per the plan. After this the certified map is sent to the Survey of India. From there it comes back to the concerned district. After this, objections are sought from the concerned village. After this, if no objection is found, the Gharauni is issued. In Lucknow, 2726 houses have been distributed in BKT, 7937 in Malihabad, zero in Mohanlalganj, 672 in Lucknow Sadar and 2834 in Sarojini Nagar. There will be further increase in these in the coming days.
