Aligarh: On Wednesday, Traffic Month was inaugurated by the RTO office and police officials from Aligarh Police Control Room. During this, the bike rally was flagged off by the SSP. The people of Aligarh will be made aware of the traffic rules through the bike rally. During Traffic Month, SSP Kala Nidhi Naithani said that work will be done to modernize the equipment used in traffic rules. Apart from this, he requested the school children to be more aware about the traffic rules during the traffic month. During this, the oath on road safety was administered.
Cooperation sought from public for transportation system
SSP said that like every year, this year also the month of November is being celebrated as Traffic Month. During this, the people present at the spot were given information about traffic rules. SSP says that like last year, there has been a significant reduction in the number of accidents this year. This is the reason why accident cases will be further reduced next year. SSP has appealed to the people of Aligarh that they need their cooperation in this month-long traffic month. He said that school children should become more and more aware about the traffic rules during Traffic Month, so that they can give proper information about the traffic rules to their elders who ignore the traffic rules.
Accident spots will be marked
Apart from this, there are black spots everywhere in the city due to accidents. Those black spots have been eliminated by re-marking them. At the same time, the number of accidents will be reduced by identifying the remaining black spots by the police; modernization work will also be done on the equipment used in traffic.
