On September 30, a woman’s body was found separated in two parts near Barauli Karayal Shukla Marg Jogiya Tiraha Canal Bridge of Bhaluani police station area in Deoria, UP. Police arrived on the information of local people and tried to identify the body but the woman could not be identified. In this case, the police had registered a case against an unknown accused and was investigating. In this case, the police found a Flipkart slip in the suitcase found along with the dead body of the woman, traced the address written on it and reached the killer. While disclosing this incident, SOG and Bhaluani police have identified the woman as Khushboo Singh, daughter of Ramesh Singh, resident of Paina police station, Barhaj district, Deoria. Munna Kumar Nishad, son of late Jawahir Nishad, resident of Paina police station Barhaj, accused of murder of the woman, has been arrested. During interrogation with the police, Munna Kumar Nishad told that Khushboo Singh was a resident of his village who had a court marriage with someone in the year 2016 and she got divorced from that person in March 2022. I used to live in Dubai. During the phone conversation with Khushbu, I came to Gorakhpur from Dubai in December 2022 and lived in a rented house. Where Khushbu was living with me since December 2022.
This is how the crime was committed
During this time she became pregnant. I asked her to abort the child but she was not agreeing. In September 2023, during an argument regarding this matter, I pushed her and she fell. Due to which her head got hurt and she became unconscious. I strangled her to death and cut her into two parts in the bathroom of the house. I kept his dead body, mattress and quilt in a big suitcase, talked to the landlord about vacating the house and brought it back to my house. While going to Pana, I had thrown the dead body on the road and also his Aadhar card and the knife with which I had taken his body. The body was dismembered and thrown into Rapti river from Bohabar bridge on the way from Gorakhpur.
Police reached the accused through Flipkart receipt
Whereas SP Sankalp Sharma said that uncovering this blind murder case was a challenge. Success was achieved in reaching the accused through the Flipkart receipt found in the bag containing the woman’s body. On this success of the police, IG Zone Gorakhpur has announced a reward of Rs 50 thousand.
