This time, to solve the equations of Lok Sabha elections 2024, the top leadership of BJP has given the green signal to the cabinet expansion. This was agreed upon during the recent meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and State President Bhupendra Chaudhary with the top leadership. After this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Governor Anandiben Patel late on Tuesday evening. It is being said that during this time the CM discussed with the Governor regarding the cabinet expansion, the date of which has been fixed as November 10. Along with this, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhashpa) President Omprakash Rajbhar and former minister Dara Singh Chauhan also reached Lucknow late on Tuesday night. Due to these political activities in the capital, the discussion about cabinet expansion has gained further strength. Along with this, all the ministers of the state government have been asked to stay in the capital from 9th and 10th November.
Cabinet expansion given green signal in meeting with Amit Shah-Nadda
It is being said that in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda last week, an in-principle agreement was reached for cabinet expansion. The central leadership has left the decision to the Chief Minister to include SubhaSP President Omprakash Rajbhar, former minister Dara Singh Chauhan and one or two other faces in the cabinet. Meanwhile, after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with Governor Anandiben Patel, there is talk that after the cabinet meeting in Ayodhya on November 9, cabinet expansion may take place on November 10. In this, apart from Omprakash Rajbhar, Dara Singh, one or two new faces may get a place to solve the caste equation in the Lok Sabha elections.
OP Rajbhar has claimed many times to become a minister

Since then, Rajbhar has spoken in the Delhi court several times to get a place in the Yogi cabinet. Meanwhile, it is also being said that some officials associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and some leaders of BJP are not in favor of making Dara Singh a minister after his defeat in the by-election at Ghosi assembly seat of Mau district. The matter remained stuck for so long due to lack of consensus on the name of Dara Singh. On the other hand, Omprakash Rajbhar wants to make Dara Singh a minister along with him. He has made statements in this regard many times. In such a situation, in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Dara Singh can be included to woo the Nonia Chauhan voters of Purvanchal. Along with this, after the cabinet expansion, the portfolios of some ministers of the state government may also change.
