UP News: Bus carrying 40 passengers for Chhath collides with truck in Etawah, two killed, 26 injured

Lucknow : A bus carrying 40 passengers along with catering material for a religious event (Chhath) collided with a truck at around 4 am in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. Police said that on Friday, a bus full of passengers going from Lucknow to Etawah collided with a truck on the expressway near Sabli Kheda village, due to which two people died, while 26 others were injured. In Etawah, a bus carrying 40 passengers along with catering material for a religious event collided with a truck at around 4 am. Due to the collision, the bus overturned and hit the divider. Police took the injured to Bangarmau hospital. Among them, Mohit (25) died on reaching the hospital, while the other driver Lal Bahadur, resident of Sahi Kheda, Lucknow, was also declared dead. Police said a total of 26 injured people were taken to Bangarmau Hospital, of which two were confirmed dead. The condition of two of the injured remains critical.
