UP News: Badaun SDM sent summons to UP Governor, stir in Raj Bhavan

Lucknow: Summons have been sent to the Governor of UP from Badaun Sadar Tehsil. Since then there has been a stir in the government and administration. It is being told that SDM SP Verma has sent summons to the Governor. In this, Governor Anandiben Patel was ordered to appear in the SDM court on October 18 and present her side.

In this matter, the Governor’s Secretariat has expressed objection by sending a letter to the DM. Besides, a letter has also been written for action against SDM. According to sources, this summons was issued in a land dispute case. Governor’s Special Secretary Badrinath Singh has written a letter to Badaun DM that this summons is a violation of Article 361 of the Constitution.

According to the information, Chandrahas, resident of Loda Bahedi of Civil Line police station area, had filed a case in the SDM Judicial Court of Sadar Tehsil. In this, along with PWD and one other, the Governor was also made a party. Chandrahas said that some of his aunt Katori Devi’s land had been transferred to their name by relatives. After this this land was sold to a person named Lekhraj. Not only this, some part of this land was later acquired by the government. For which Lekhraj also received a compensation of Rs 12 lakh. This summons has been sent in connection with the hearing of this petition.
