UP News: Attack on workers returning from VHP procession in Aligarh, one injured, ruckus, four accused arrested

Aligarh : A case of attack on a Vishwa Hindu Parishad worker has come to light in Aligarh. All the workers were returning from Vishwa Hindu Parishad Shobhayatra. During this the youths of a particular community beat up the workers. VHP workers also created ruckus for action and arrest of the accused. In this case the police have arrested four accused. According to the police, the brawl broke out when VHP workers were passing in front of a shop. The incident is of Udala area of ​​police station Banna Devi. As soon as the information about the attack was received, the police force reached the spot.

Workers were returning to Mehrawal

A procession of Vishwa Hindu Parishad was taken out on Saturday. The VHP workers involved in this were returning at night. Banwari Lal, a resident of Mehrawal, while giving a complaint at Banna Devi police station, said that while returning to the village, his companions were beaten up. When he reached near Udala, half a dozen people stopped him. As soon as they were stopped, they attacked him with sticks. When they tried to run away, they pelted stones. On information, police officers reached the spot. When information about this reached other workers of the organization, they reached the police station and created a ruckus. It is alleged that the victims had gone to participate in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad yatra and hence they were beaten up and attacked.

SP City Mrigank Shekhar Pathak told that the case came to our notice in Banna Devi police station area. In which a dispute broke out between two parties while passing in front of the shop. Taking cognizance of this, a case has been registered in Banna Devi police station under relevant sections. Two people have been named and two other persons have been arrested. The arrest of others continues. Advance legal action is being taken.
